K Playdate Rescheduled-Monday, August 31

The National Weather Service is forecasting the possibility of severe thunderstorms and hail during the time of tonight’s Kindergarten Playdate. For the safety of our students and families, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s event. While we are disappointed that the weather is preventing us from gathering this evening, we are excited to announce that the Kindergarten Playdate has been rescheduled for Monday, August 31st, at 5:00 PM.

We hope this new date and time will allow our kindergarteners and their families to join us for an evening of fun, play, and getting to know new friends and members of our school community. As part of the evening, our kindergarteners will also have the exciting opportunity to take a 5–8 minute ride on a school bus around the neighborhood, giving them a chance to experience riding the bus before the start of school.

We appreciate your understanding as we make this change with the safety of our students and families as our top priority. We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday evening and making it a wonderful start to the kindergarten experience!
